How is Josh.ai different from Alexa or Google Assistant?
Privacy and depth. Josh doesn’t advertise to you, doesn’t sell your data, and was designed for whole-home control rather than kitchen timers — it understands natural, compound commands like “dim the kitchen a little and play jazz everywhere but the nursery.” It’s sold only through professional integrators because it’s programmed to your specific home.
What hardware does a Josh.ai system use?
A central processor (the brain of the home) plus room devices: the coin-sized in-wall Nano, the countertop Micro, and the Josh app and remote experiences on your phone or TV. We design the mix per room — microphones where you speak, nothing where you don’t want them.
What does Josh.ai integrate with?
The systems a fine home already runs: Lutron lighting and shades, Sonos and whole-home audio, climate, locks, garage doors, TVs and cameras — “Okay Josh, show me the driveway” puts the camera on the nearest screen. If we installed it, Josh can almost certainly run it.
Can Josh.ai be added to an existing home?
