Installed by Shield Low Voltage

The Smart Home,
Where the Switch Was.

Brilliant replaces an ordinary light switch with a touchscreen that runs the room — lights, music, climate, cameras and locks in one place on the wall. No hub shelf, no tablet to charge, no app scavenger hunt for guests.

Built on the Light Switch.
Grown Into the Whole Home.

Brilliant’s foundation is lighting control — the panel wires in like a switch and dims the loads behind it. From that anchor it reaches everything else: Sonos in the kitchen, the thermostat, the video doorbell, the locks, room-to-room intercom through its built-in camera, even Alexa if you want it.

It’s the interface a family actually uses. The phone app exists for the driveway; the wall is where the home gets run.

Three Pieces of Hardware. One System.

Every part mounts where electrical already lives, which is why installs are quick and retrofits don’t tear up walls.

Control Panels1- to 4-switch touchscreens that replace existing switch banks — the room’s command post, with intercom and voice built in.
Smart DimmersThe signature light-slider switch for rooms that need great dimming without a screen. Motion-sensing, scene-aware.
Smart PlugsLamps and small loads join the same scenes and schedules as the hardwired circuits.

Where It Fits Best

Brilliant is the strongest answer we carry for production builds, townhomes and refits — homes that deserve real control without a rack, a programmer and a five-figure line item. Builders spec it because buyers understand it on sight; owners keep it because it just runs the house.

For estates that want orchestration to disappear entirely, that’s Loxone or Savant territory — and we’ll tell you which side of that line your project sits on.

The Honest History — and Why We Carry It Now

We’ll say what the brochure won’t: Brilliant had a rough chapter. The original company chased big-box retail, stumbled, and changed hands more than once — early adopters have the reviews to show for it.

That chapter is over. Under Brilliant NextGen, with private investors who bought the company to grow it, the strategy flipped to the professional channel — custom integrators, security dealers and builders — with a real partner program behind it. Sold through pros, installed by pros, supported by pros. That’s the only way we’d put it on your wall: when a Shield install has a hiccup, you call us, and we answer.

One Panel on the Wall Beats Six Apps in a Drawer.

Tell us about the home — new build, townhome project or a refit of the house you’re in — and we’ll spec the panels, dimmers and integrations that make sense.
