Genetec in Your Building?
We Can Help.
Genetec Security Center service, support and takeovers across Utah — cameras, access and plates on one platform, with one local crew behind it.
One Platform, Not a Pile of Apps
What “Unified” Actually Means.
Most sites bolt video, badges and plate readers together and call it integrated. Genetec Security Center was built as one platform from the start — one interface, one operator, one investigation across all of it:

Service & Support
Security Center,
Actually Centered.
Genetec unifies video, access control and plate recognition beautifully — for organizations with someone minding it. For everyone else in Utah, that someone is us:
- Omnicast & Synergis care — the video and access halves serviced as one system
- Directory and server health — the platform’s heart checked on a schedule
- Device adds — cameras, readers and plate units brought in cleanly
- On-site smart hands — for national programs running Genetec at Utah sites
Takeovers
Your Integrator Left.
The System Stayed.
When the certified integrator is out of state and the platform is mission-critical, a local takeover changes everything about response time:
- Audit first — cameras, licenses, server health and what’s actually recoverable
- Credentials and configs recovered — or rebuilt cleanly where the originals left with the last company
- Documentation you own — so nobody can orphan you twice
- Local response — a Utah crew that answers, instead of a national queue
Where Genetec Fits in Utah
Security Center is the right call for operations with an actual security desk: distribution campuses, healthcare, municipal facilities, anywhere badges and cameras and gates need to behave as one system with real audit trails. It rewards scale — the more doors and lenses, the more the unification pays.
It is genuinely more platform than a single storefront needs. For lighter sites we’ll steer you to Verkada, UniFi or Digital Watchdog and save Security Center for the buildings that deserve it.
Common Questions
Genetec, Answered Straight.
Can you take over a Security Center system our old integrator ran?
Yes. We audit the directory, licenses, cameras and access hardware, re-establish clean admin control, and document what we find so the system can never be orphaned the same way twice.
Do we have to replace our cameras to move to Genetec?
Almost never — that’s the point of a camera-agnostic platform. Existing Axis, Hanwha and most open cameras come across; we verify the fleet during the audit and tell you the exceptions before anything is committed.
Is Genetec overkill for us?
Maybe — and we’ll say so if it is. A good rule: if nobody at your company watches cameras or manages badges as part of their actual job, start lighter. If somebody does, Security Center makes that person several times more effective.
How is Genetec licensed?
Per connection (cameras, doors, plate units) with an annual software maintenance agreement that keeps versions current. We size the license to what you run, not the biggest bundle on the sheet — and takeovers often reveal shelfware worth trimming.
