A modern video bar covers a ten-person conference room beautifully at a tenth of the cost, and a three-bedroom home is usually better served by Control4 or Alarm.com — and when that is the truth, that is our quote. Crestron is for the rooms and the homes that have genuinely outgrown everything else.

Is Crestron for homes, or just for offices?
Both, and they are different products. Crestron Home is the residential platform — lighting, shades, climate, audio, video, security and cameras on one interface, built for large homes with many rooms and subsystems. Commercial Crestron runs boardrooms, training rooms and executive floors. We design, program and service both across Utah.
Can you take over a Crestron system another company installed?
Yes. We audit what is installed, recover or rebuild the program and credentials, fix what has stopped responding and hand you documentation of the whole system. Nothing that works gets ripped out. Homes and businesses alike — an orphaned system is an orphaned system.
Crestron or Control4 for my home?
For most homes, Control4 or Alarm.com does the job at a lower cost and we will say so. Crestron Home makes sense when the house is large, the subsystems are many — distributed video, pool and spa, dozens of shades, a theater — and you want everything engineered and standardized to a very high finish. We install both, so the answer is about the house, not our catalogue. See the Control4 page for the comparison from the other side.
What does a Crestron Home system cost?
It scales with the house. A single theater with lighting and shades is a very different project from an estate with distributed audio and video and forty shades. We quote after a free in-home walkthrough, in one written proposal that covers equipment, wiring, programming and documentation — no surprise programming invoice afterwards.
Do you handle new construction?
Yes, and it is the best time to do it. We work from the plans with your builder and architect, pre-wire every shade, speaker, keypad, panel and access point before drywall, and commission the system when the house is finished.
