The Panel Everyone Copies.
The Sensors Nobody Matches.

Qolsys IQ panels running DSC PowerG sensors are the backbone of nearly every alarm we install — residential or commercial, wireless or hardwired takeover. Here’s why we standardized on them.

The Flagship

IQ Panel 5 —
The Wall Earns a Screen.

The panel that made keypads obsolete: a bright touchscreen that runs security, cameras and the smart home from one spot by the door — and keeps its own watch on whoever touches it.

  • Dual-path always — LTE and WiFi together, so cutting a wire cuts nothing
  • Built-in camera — a snapshot with every disarm; you know exactly who came home
  • Native Alarm.com — the app, the automations and the video history all first-class
  • A smart-home hub in disguise — Z-Wave locks, lights and thermostats ride the same panel
  • Works with Josh.ai — arm and check status by voice in the luxury homes we automate

The Workhorse

IQ Pro — For Buildings
That Mean Business.

The easiest way to describe the IQ Pro is as both halves of this page in one enclosure: the hardwired infrastructure of a DSC PowerSeries Neo, with the platform of an IQ Panel 5 sitting on top of it. Hundreds of wired zones if the building wants them, PowerG and Z‑Wave for everything else, and the full Alarm.com smart home stack either way.

Which is why it is the panel we reach for on commercial jobs and big-home takeovers — existing wiring keeps working, and everything new goes on radio.

  • Hardwired + wireless in one panel — up to hundreds of zones, mixed freely
  • Partitions — the warehouse, the office and the showroom armed independently
  • The takeover panel — existing wired sensors land on it directly; no ripping wire out of walls
  • Z‑Wave and smart home built in — locks, thermostats, lighting and scenes, the same as the IQ Panel 5
  • Same Alarm.com brain — one app whether the building is one door or forty

The DSC Half of the Story

PowerG — The Radio
Worth Standardizing On.

Sensors are where cheap alarms fail. PowerG is DSC’s military-grade wireless — and it’s the reason a wireless system from us behaves like a wired one:

  • Encrypted, frequency-hopping radio — 128-bit AES, hopping channels constantly, effectively immune to the jammers that defeat bargain systems
  • Range measured in kilometers — one panel covers estates, warehouses and outbuildings without repeaters in most cases
  • Two-way and adaptive — sensors adjust transmit power, so batteries run for years
  • The full catalog — door, motion, glassbreak, smoke, CO, flood, temperature; life-safety included

And now PowerG+: the new generation adds over-the-air firmware updates — your sensors get smarter after they’re on the wall instead of aging in place — plus stronger encryption and richer diagnostics, so a failing device tells on itself before it fails. We’re already installing it.

Takeovers

Your Old Panel Retires.
Your Wiring Doesn’t.

Most Utah homes and buildings already have alarm wire in the walls from a DSC, Honeywell or Interlogix system. We keep it: the old sensors land on an IQ panel, PowerG covers what the wire never reached, and the monitoring bill usually goes down.

  • Wired zones converted — hardwire-to-PowerG converters or IQ Pro inputs, no drywall repair
  • Old brands welcome — DSC PowerSeries, Honeywell Vista, Interlogix and most others
  • No contracts — the takeover pays for itself in service, not lock-in

Watched Around the Clock

A Great Panel Deserves
Great Monitoring.

Every Qolsys system we install can carry 24/7 UL central-station monitoring with police, fire and medical dispatch — the part that turns a smart panel into protection. Residential monitoring · Commercial monitoring
