Why Savant
Most smart homes are an assembly of good products. A Savant home is one system that happens to do many things — which is why the light, the music, the temperature and the shades all move together, and why there is one app rather than nine.
That coherence is the whole argument. It is also the part that cannot be retrofitted with another purchase later, so it is worth deciding early.

Keypads are the one piece of a system a visitor puts a hand on, so Savant treats them as hardware rather than fittings. The Ascend and Metropolitan families are the ones we specify most in custom homes — minimal faces, real machined buttons, finishes chosen against the metalwork already in the room instead of a plastic white default.
- Engraved scenes at the door, bedside and garage entry, so nobody hunts for a switch
- Panelized lighting for larger homes — dimming lives in a rack, not in the wall boxes
- Tunable white that shifts colour temperature through the day, warm by evening
- Architectural fixtures specified alongside the control, so the trims disappear into the ceiling

Power
The Part No Other
System Does
This is where Savant stops being another automation brand. Their power modules go into the electrical panel itself, which means the system sees and switches individual circuits — not a whole-house on or off, but this circuit, at this moment, for this reason.
- Circuit-level monitoring, so you can see what is actually drawing power rather than guessing from a monthly bill
- Outage detection in an instant, with battery storage scaling from roughly 20 kWh to 500 kWh
- You choose which circuits stay alive on batteries — and can change your mind from the app mid-outage
- Solar, generator and battery managed as one, with EV charging that backs off at peak rates
On scope: the panel itself is electrical work, not low voltage. We design and program the system and coordinate the panel with a licensed electrician — either yours or one we work with regularly. We will not pretend that part is ours.

Without the Ritual
Savant’s audio platform searches across your streaming services at once, so you look for an album rather than remembering which service holds it. Rooms group and ungroup as you move through the house, and the volume in the kitchen has nothing to do with the volume by the pool.
- Distributed audio over the network, so adding a room later is a run of cable and not a new amplifier
- Cinema and media rooms that come up on one press — lights down, shades closed, projector warm, source selected
- Video distributed from a rack, so there are no boxes and no visible cables under the televisions
- Scenes that cross systems: the cinema scene dims the hall behind you as well

The measure of a system this size is whether the least technical person in the house can use it without being taught. That means the wall does the everyday work and the app is there for everything else — not the other way round.

Savant is not sold in boxes, and it is not a system you inherit from whoever wired the house. It is designed, installed and programmed by a dealer who stays reachable afterwards.

We start at the drawings
Ideally before drywall. On a Savant home the cable paths, panel locations and keypad positions are architectural decisions, and they are cheap now and expensive later.

We specify to the house
Finishes against your metalwork, keypad engraving in your words, zones drawn around how the rooms are actually used rather than how the plan is labelled.

We program, then sit with you
Handover is a conversation, not a folder. Scenes get adjusted for weeks afterwards, because nobody knows what “a little warmer” means until they are living in it.

We stay on the end of the phone
Local, and the same people. Most changes are made remotely the same day.
