Authorized dealer — installed & serviced by Shield Low Voltage
Rule your space.
Ajax is the European security system that designers stopped hiding — Red Dot–awarded hardware, alarms verified with photos, and one app that runs it all. Now UL-certified for the United States, and installed in Utah by us.

One System
Everything, integrated.

Photo Verification
An alarm you can see.
Ajax’s signature trick: MotionCam detectors don’t just trip — they send a photo series of whatever moved, seconds after it happens. You see the cause in the app; the monitoring center sees it too.
- Know instantly whether it’s a break-in or the cat
- Verified alarms get treated seriously by responders
- False-alarm fines and 2 AM guesswork mostly disappear
Designed, Not Disguised
Hardware that wins
design awards.
Eight Red Dot Awards in 2026 alone — for cameras, fire hubs and even light switches. Ajax devices are the rare security hardware an architect doesn’t ask you to hide, in black or white to match the room.
- Jeweller — encrypted wireless with up to a mile of range and years on a battery
- Fibra — the wired backbone for new builds; hybrid hubs run both at once
- UL-certified — the US lineup is certified for professional installation here

The Shield Part
Why we brought Ajax to Utah.
We’re an onboarded Ajax dealer, and honestly — we picked them up because customers kept deserving them. Our Alarm.com practice remains the workhorse for most Utah homes; Ajax is the answer when the brief says design-forward: hardware that belongs in an architectural home, photo-verified alarms, and a genuinely user-friendly app. We design the system, install it clean, and connect it to 24/7 professional monitoring — month to month, like everything we do.
Common Questions
Ajax, answered straight.
Is Ajax actually available in the US?
Yes — Ajax certified a UL lineup for the United States and Canada and sells here through authorized dealers and installers, which is exactly what we are. We handle sourcing, design, installation and service locally.
Does Ajax work with professional monitoring?
Yes. Ajax systems connect to professional central monitoring stations, and photo verification means the operator sees what tripped the alarm before dispatching — verified alarms get faster, more serious responses.
Ajax or Alarm.com — which should I choose?
Both are excellent, and we install both. Alarm.com is the deeper US ecosystem — the widest device support, video doorbells, energy management. Ajax wins on hardware design, photo verification and app experience. Tell us about your home and we’ll recommend honestly; it’s why we carry more than one line.
Is wireless security reliable enough?
Ajax’s Jeweller protocol is encrypted, jam-monitored, and good for roughly a mile of open-air range with multi-year battery life — it holds European Grade 2/3 certifications that wired systems are judged by. For new construction we can also run Fibra wired devices from the same hybrid hub.
Can you take over my existing alarm with Ajax?
Usually the honest answer is that a takeover keeps your existing panel on our monitoring, and a switch to Ajax means new (better-looking) devices. We’ll price both paths — and if your current sensors are worth keeping, we’ll say so.
