Details
Turns the smoke detectors already in the home into monitored fire protection. Mount it within 6 inches of an existing UL smoke detector; it listens for the standard Temporal 3 smoke alarm pattern and sends a wireless 319.5 MHz signal to the alarm panel, which alerts the central monitoring station. With interconnected hardwired smoke detectors, as in most homes, one listener covers the whole system. It does not affect the UL or fire marshal approval of the existing detectors. Note: it does not detect the Temporal 4 tone of a carbon monoxide (CO) alarm.
